Welcome to Haukelandsbakken student home

We rent out single rooms, furnished with a bed, a desk, shelves, chairs and a wardrobe. There is also a sink in the room.

There is shared kitchen, showers and toilets. The kitchens are equipped with a kitchen table with chairs, two cookers and oven, two fridges, a freezer, and drawers and cupboards for each resident. The students have access to a TV room, laundry, storage rooms and a bicycle shed.

The rent includes electricity, cleaning of common areas, janitorial services and security services.

Only students at UiB (Bergen University College) or HiB will get access to the internet.
We deliver only an accesspoint in your room, you have to have your privat cable and PC together with your valid username and password to connect through HiB or UIB to the internet. How to connect to "Studentbynett"
 

The rent:

Monthly rent is NOK 2400, -

Deposit NOK 2400, -

For short time rent (one to three months rent) there is a non-refundable administration cost of NOK 1000, - instead of the deposit.

Please note that we only rent out rooms by the month, whether you arrive early or late in the month. 

How to apply:

Fill in the application form. We will answer your application by email as soon as possible. If you are a foreign student please let us know the exact date and time of your arrival.

The deposit or the administration fee has to be paid before you move in.

Haukelandsbakken student home is located about 15 minutes by bus from the centre of Bergen. It is close to the Faculty of Health and Social Science and a few minutes from the main hospital.
